Abstract

A computerized technique for editing time-series plots of meteorological surface data by use of interactive graphics equipment is described and is compared with traditional semiautomated techniques that require considerable manual work. Editing features and selected data editing cases are discussed that illustrate the great advantages of the interactive graphics system.
