Abstract

Various forms of the Hub and Spoke model have been in existence in nursing programmes, providing nurses with the opportunity to observe a client or patient journey or to gain an overview of services available in the local area. The article concentrates on the practical development of the infrastructure to support the model and some field-specific examples of implementation.
