Abstract

human genomic sequence comprises of chromosomal DNA molecules. A DNA sequence is a double helical structure consisting of molecules of sugar, phosphate and nucleotides A, T, G, and C. A Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) is defined as a difference of a nucleotide between the genomic sequences of any biological species. The haplotype assembly problem was used as a solution methodology to eliminate SNPs in the ApoE gene of the human genomic sequence.
