Use of Extraction of Emblica Officinalis in Preparing Pharmaceutical Composition for Repairing Liver Damage

Abstract

An use of an extraction of emblica officinalis in preparing pharmaceutical composition for repairing liver damage, wherein the pharmaceutical composition including the extraction of emblica officinalis improves the ability of performing the oxidative phosphorylation for the synthesis of the adenosine triphosphate (ATP) by mitochondria in the liver cells which are in contact with the free radicals. Thepharmaceutical composition including the extraction of emblica officinalis also reduces the proton leakage of the mitochondria, improves the maximal respiration of the mitochondria, improves the coupling efficiency of the adenosine triphosphate in the mitochondria, improves the spare respiratory capacity of the mitochondria, and reduces the amount of the free radical generated in the liver cells.
