Abstract

The article presents the basic laws of chromium carbide and silicon carbide powder mixtures compaction with titanium binder by explosive pressing. The conditions that provide the density of compactions close to the density of a monolithic material are revealed. The basic regularities of the formation and features of the fine structure of interphase boundaries in powder materials based on chromium carbide and silicon carbide with titanium binder are investigated, the conditions for consolidated hard alloys obtaining at the pressing stage are identified.
