Abstract

The study examined the Use of Electronic Information Resources by Postgraduate Students of Universities in North Central Nigeria. Descriptive survey research method was adopted for this study in five government owned universities in North Central Nigeria. The population of the study comprised of postgraduate students in the under studied universities and 357 postgraduate students were sampled for the study. A structured questionnaire was the instrument used for data collection and data obtained was analyzed using frequency counts, simple percentage and mean score. The study revealed that postgraduate students access electronic information resources on a daily basis and uses of these resources is mostly twice a week. Furthermore, the use of electronic information resources has improved their research productivity. Recommendations were given at the end which if followed will improve the Use of Electronic Information Resources by Postgraduate Students of Universities in North Central Nigeria.
