Abstract
The basic aim of the study is to observe the utilisation of electronic information resources among the faculty members of Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering, Vijayawada, along with the investigation of the usage of different type of electronic information resources. The survey design method with the help of a wellstructured questionnaire is used in the study and 246 faculty members of Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering were randomly selected as sample for this study. The study aimed at identifying the awareness levels, methods of usage of the available electronic resources in the library, frequency of usage of the resources by the faculty in the college library. The results obtained revealed that faculty of different branches are quite aware and has high usage of the electronic information resources. Based on the findings, the study was concluded that electronic information resources are necessary for all department faculty of Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering for their individual development and for the research and teaching activities.
