Abstract

1. A detailed analysis and cost estimate of the conditions of electrical and fuel supply systems for each specific case should precede the selection of the heat supply system for hydraulic engineering projects. 2. In the case of commensurable cost indices of comparable heat supply systems preference should be given to electrical heat supply systems which technically most fully satisfy the specific requirements of heat consumers of a construction project. 3. The use of electrical power for heat supply of hydraulic engineering projects greatly reduces the construction time of the heat supply system and the manpower involved in delivering fuel to the site and in operating the heat supply system, which is quite important, especially during the initial construction period.
