Abstract

1. The thermodynamic functions for the dissolving of 98 C5-C9 hydrocarbons in dinonyl phthalate at 70–110° were determined on the basis of the retention indexes. 2. Correlations were established between the retention indexes and the thermodynamic solution functions; they can be used to study the thermodynamics of the sorption of hydrocarbons by dinonyl phthalate.
