Abstract

Results for the reduction of unsupported CuO and NiO and alumina-supported copper oxides and chlorides, obtained by temperature-programmed reduction in flowing 6% H 2/N 2 using both thermal conductivity and catalytic detectors, are comparable, but wider applicability of the latter may make it more attractive for temperature-programmed studies.
