Abstract

In the majority of calvarial remodelling cases the residual bone defects fill in spontaneously due to the regenerative capacity of pericranial tissues in a young child, however, it is not uncommon to see a post operative child with a bony defect causing undesirable contour irregularities and cosmetic concerns during their long term follow up.
