Abstract

The results of a study of the use of alkali-containing secondary products from production of caprolactam and ethylene for partial or total replacement of soda in production of electrotechnical and sheet glass are reported. Thermogravimetric, differential thermal, and x-ray phase analyses showed that replacing soda ash with alkali-containing secondary products intensifies glass-melting processes.
