Abstract

The paper deals with the use of accelerometer sensors for measuring the states of retaining steel networks and barriers. It is discussed a design of the measuring chain for monitoring the state of these protective devices and its individual components are described. For transferring data from accelerometers to a superior system, IQRF technology is used to communicate between wireless nodes and network coordinator in the MESH topology. An integral part of the article is a description of two pilot experiments and evaluation of the measured data.
