Abstract

Surgical excision wide a tumour-free margin provides the best chance of a cure with mast cell tumours. However, the position of the tumour may make reconstruction a challenge. One option for reconstruction of wounds in the trunk and forelimb is the use of a thoracodorsal axial flap. This case report illustrates the use of such a flap to close a medial elbow defect.
