Abstract

The technique described permits the use of a previously completed orbitofacial prosthesis for the construction of a new prosthesis without taking the prosthesis from the patient for more than a 2-hour period. This technique describes the remaking of an orbital prosthesis where preservation of the position of the ocular portion is of paramount importance. A similar procedure may also be applied to the remaking of other maxillofacial prostheses.
