Abstract
ABSTRACT A Study is mode of Weiner's least-square optimization with quadratic constraints. The control system input consists of a random message plus noise. The message has a general form of power spectrum and the noise is white. Both message and noise are uncorrelated and stationary in the statistical sense. A digital computer is used to find the values of the Lagrange multipliers for given mean square constraints simultaneously imposed on two separate plant variables. The computation is performed by means of a specially devised goal-seeking programme.
