Abstract

This papaer describes the approach of using domain-specific languages for creating autonomy and flight control system of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). This approach emerged in the company by doing UAV engineering services and creating a flight control system for fixed and rotary-wing UAVs. The company has developed software architecture and describing techniques to independently setup levels of autonomous system behavior. Same time most of the base software was reused within several UAVs of different kinds, forming a software and hardware platform programmed by domain-specific languages (DSL). Approach is focused on applications for the UAVs heavier than 25 kg (55 lbs).
