Usability of fly ash for filtration barriers

Abstract

Abstract Usability of fl y ash for filtration barriers. The results of permeability and compressibility tests of the fl y ash from Skawina Power Plant were presented in the paper. These tests were carried out in the aspect of its usage in filtration barriers in municipal and industrial waste landfills. It was stated that the tested fl y ash can not be used for filtration barriers, mainly because of granulation and filtration criteria.
