Abstract

Sales of computer equipment in the USA have remained at a high level during 1982, despite the different economic climate prevailing in the USA during this period. In particular, demand for mini- and desktop computers has grown rapidly and the whole industry has been little affected by the general recession. For 1983, a further speeding up in activity is expected and a growth of around 20% in sales is likely during the current year.
