Abstract

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">Abstract: Historian and novelist Thomas Fleming grew up in Jersey City during the heyday of Mayor Frank Hague, and Fleming’s father, Teddy, was a close aide to Hague. In this talk presented at Drew University’s Casperson School of Graduate Studies in 2009, Fleming recalled the ethos of Jersey City’s Irish-dominated political organization. </span></span></p>
