Abstract

(Abstracted from Obstet Gynecol 2018;132:1347–1357) About half of all women will experience at least 1 urinary tract infection (UTI) in their lifetimes, and the infection will recur in more than 10% of postmenopausal women. Pelvic surgery increases risk of UTI.
