Abstract
An 89-year-old non-diabetic caucasian man, diagnosed of benign prostatic hyperplasia for several years and treated with Tamsulosine. He was presented with a one week history of incontinence at night without strangury, painless increasing abdominal distension and leg edema bilaterally.

The mass was dull to percussion and tender on palpation
It has been known to compress the inferior vena cava and both right and left external iliac veins. This can account for the lower limb edema found in our case
