Abstract
The aim of this paper is to complement the ethnographic and linguistic information about the Zapotec area of southern Oaxaca with the documentation of a series of 42 terms associated with the textile tradition, which are presented in Spanish and accompanied by their equivalent in several linguistic variants and ethnographic notes. The entries of the vocabulary correspond to parts of the backstrap loom, elements of the clothing, fibers, dyes, weaving actions and some designs.
