Abstract
With the increasing complexity of urban road traffic, the workload of urban road traffic management department is also increasing. The past management methods are not suitable for the current urban road conditions, so it is necessary to use scientific network information management technology for road traffic management. This paper first discusses the importance of urban road traffic management system, then analyzes the current situation of urban road traffic management system, then discusses the research and development methods of GIS applied to road management, and finally focuses on the function of the system, hoping that the research can promote the better and faster development of urban road traffic level.
