Abstract
Cities are susceptible to events that can change its normal functioning, causing disturbances to the population's well-being and financial impacts for the government to repair to return to the original situation. In the concept of transport systems, these events can range from environmental disasters to disruptions by human causes. With the population increase, cities became even more vulnerable to disturbances, therefore, one way to assess the system's resilience potential is through metrics that can quantify its performance. The transport system resilience of an area can be influenced by several aspects of neighbour's areas, like, purchasing power and unemployment rate. Therefore, in order to identify the existence of patterns, the concept of spatial analysis is used, which allows comparing the calculated potential resilience score with socio-economic indicators.
