ABSTRACTThis brief article serves as an introduction to the five articles of this special issue which developed from the Exploratory Workshop: Urban Governance and its Disorders: Corruption in the Cities held at the Centre for Urban History, University of Leicester on the 27 April 2018 and sponsored by the International Journal of Regional and Local History.
