Abstract
The influence of the concentration of uranyl sulphate, sulphuric acid, sodium sulphate and extractant on the extraction of uranium (VI) with tri- n-octylamine solutions in benzene or carbon tetrachloride has been studied. The absorption spectra of the uranium (VI) compounds in aqueous sulphate solutions and in tri- n-octylamine sulphate solutions in benzene and carbon tetrachloride, are given. The composition of the extracted compound has been determined.
