Abstract

Palpebral ptosis, whether congenital or acquired, may have an important impact on the wellbeing of the patient regarding the functional and aesthetic aspects. In order to plan a reasonable treatment, the function of levator palpebrae superios muscles is appreciated using standard measurements. The treatment of choice remains to be the resection of levator muscle, which in most of the cases is associated with classic Open-Sky superior blepharoplasty. The aim of this article is to present this method of treatment in mild superior palpebral ptosis.
