Abstract

High-voltage and medium-voltage (HV/MV) substations connect transmission and distribution systems with consumers of electric energy. Reliability calculations were done using the user program written in the worksheets for the selective search method and the tabular method applied in this paper. For all elements of the HV / MV SS scheme, the frequency and duration of interruptions were used as indices of reliability. Reliability indicators were calculated for the functions of complete interrupt of electricity transit, interrupt of half of electricity transit, interrupt of whole and loss of half of transformation power. Schemes with double busbars on the high voltage side with one, 1.5 and two circuit breakers per field in HV / MV substations with air insulated plants were analyzed.
