Abstract

Abstract This work concerns the problem of the upheaval at the tsunamigenic earthquake epicenter in the northwestern Pacific. For convenience, several examples are introduced to show what patterns of upheaval have been observed on the coast of the Japanese Islands Arc. In order to detect such upheaval, satellite monitoring is more convenient. The geodetic survey and the tide observations are effective for advanced research on prediction of the next tsunamigenic earthquake
