Abstract
This article discusses a project being carried out in the BOF shop at the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Combine to describe the experience of upgrading teeming cranes and increasing their load-carrying capacity. The cost of the upgrades was minimized by maximizing the use of the existing equipment and minimizing expenditures on equipment disassembly and assembly, commissioning, and startup.
