Abstract

A high-sensitivity spectrometer for emission spectral analysis based on a modified two-jet DPG-50M plasmatron and high-resolution spectral equipment using a multichannel spectrum recorder is proposed. The spectrometer was tested by measuring gold concentrations by classical and scintillation spectral methods. The possibility of significantly reducing the sensitivity limits of spectral analysis in the determination of small gold contents by the scintillation method is demonstrated.
