Abstract

AbstractIn this proposal we present a notion of knowledge update in the legal context using Answer Set Programming paradigm. Our proposal uses a new definition about updates presented in [14]. This allows us a new form of modeling intelligent agents that automate the update process of a knowledge base. We implement our agents considering two aspects: First, we recapture the Kahneman’s proposal (Nobel economy reward 2002) that says than in many situations people make decisions in an informal way. They don't make use of a complex reasoning, this allows our agent to respond in an opportune and consistent way. And second, we apply our definition about updates to the laws that govern our society through logic programs.
