Abstract
SummarySevere allergic conjunctivitis in children may be severe causing loss of quality of life and visual impairment. Vernal keratoconjunctivitis and atopic keratoconjunctivitis are rare diseases but must be distinguished because of their evolution. Imaging of these diseases and systemic treatment are reviewed and developed. An overview of the innovating diagnosis, new imaging techniques and treatment is summarized for a better comprehension of severe allergic ocular surface diseases.
