Abstract

Educators or teachers of akidahakhlak are one of the important determinants in education because educators have a big responsibility in shaping the character, behavior, and personality of students. Religious teachers or akidahakhlak teachers have a quite heavy role, namely participating in fostering the child's personality in addition to teaching religious knowledge to children. The process of building morals is not enough just a few times because in the current era of globalization there are so many uneducating examples. . Lack of moral education in the world of education results in students having bad morals, both from each word and their actions. The character of the students in question is the behavior, character, or condition of students who are carried out without thinking twice and considering them first, but have been attached to the students. The author is interested in conducting research that is focused on: 1. How are the morals of students at MTs Negeri 1 Ende. 2. How are the efforts of the akidahakhlak teacher in building the morals of students at MTs Negeri 1.Ende. The method used is a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive design with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the morals of students at MTs Negeri 1 Ende were good, but some students had to improve their morals. The efforts of akidahakhlak teachers in developing students' morals include: a program to remind students to always get closer to Allah SWT. By using the method of habituation and exemplary, which aims to increase student faith. As for the supporting and inhibiting factors in moral development, namely the existence of cooperation between the head of madrasah, Bp teachers and akidahakhlak teachers, and there is no cooperation between parents of students.
