Abstract

Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) measurements are useful for early detection of prostate cancer and monitoring prostate cancer patients. However, there is the report that the initial PSA level is not necessarily associated with the prognosis of the prostate cancer patient. But there are few reports about the prognosis of the prostate cancer patients whose initial PSA are remarkably high (over 1000ng/ml). To determine the prognosis, we examined clinical course of the prostate cancer patients whose initial PSA were over 1000ng/ml.
