Abstract

In the SUNRISE study, solifenacin 5/10 mg significantly reduced urgency episodes and extent of urgency bother by day 3 of treatment using conventional scoring systems. We report change in frequency and urgency using TUS, calculated as the mean of the summed urgency intensity ratings at void per 24 h (PPIUS grade 0–4; 0 = no urgency, 4 = urge incontinence). For each diary day, all recorded PPIUS grades at each void are summed to a daily total. A mean is calculated by totalling these daily sums and dividing by the number of diary days.
