Abstract
We review the result of direct visual internal urethrotomy for short and long urethral strictures in 25 patients for the last four years. Various modifications for the procedure have been done in the literature and followed by long-term self-catheterization, with poor results. We did an intraoperative modification along with optical urethrotomy with a postoperative urethral calibration protocol and to evaluate if this works better than the available techniques.
