Abstract
Abstract: The paper proposes a new approach for identifying equations in document images, with an emphasis on handwritten equations. The proposed strategy makes use of Python-based machine learning algorithms, and for the user interface, HTML, CSS, and JS. The document image is transformed into a machine-readable format during the pre-processing stage utilizing optical character recognition (OCR). Then, image-improving methods like smoothing, thresholding, and morphological procedures are used. A deep neural network architecture is used to accurately identify math expressions in the pre-processed photos.
