Abstract

A 55-year-old man presented to Dermatology with distinct pink and white serpiginous patches appearing in a roughly symmetrical pattern on his tongue. The patches had come and gone over the previous few months. The patient denied any pain or changes in taste. He did note that the borders were not always the same and the patches could develop over a single day. What’s your diagnosis?
