Abstract

Background and Aim: In patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis, sarcopenia and frailty are prevalent. These conditions are associated with morbidity, mortality and poor quality of life. On the other hand, good functional capacity with better exercise tolerance, is associated with better outcomes, especially in liver transplant. In cases with Non alcoholic fatty liver disease, physical exercise not only has aforementioned benefits, but also improved survival by impacting cardio-vascular diseases.
