Abstract

Myocardial dysfunction leading to cardiogenic shock is extremely rare in hemolytic uremic syndrome. A 2 year old previously healthy boy presented with 5 day history of non-bloody diarrhea and new onset seizure. There was no history of drug or toxin exposure and physical exam was unremarkable.
