Abstract

Introduction: An 83-year-old male was brought in by ambulance after being found unresponsive. His background included ischaemic heart disease with previous percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) to the right coronary artery (RCA) 17 years ago, mild aortic stenosis, hypercholesterolaemia, and being an ex-smoker. He had no known allergies. Serial electrocardiograms revealed dynamic ST depression in the lateral precordial leads, in the absence of chest pain. High-sensitivity troponin peaked at 6,148 ng/L. He subsequently proceeded to coronary angiogram.
