Abstract

We report the first case of lipoblastoma of the breast, diagnosed postoperatively in a 13-month-old infant. We discuss the management of this case, conditioned by peculiar localization, emphasizing the differential diagnosis of other causes of breast enlargement. Surgeons should know this condition and its implications, while dealing with developing breasts.
