Abstract

Primary cercopithecus aethiops kidney cells and continuous cell lines of monkey kidneys CV-1 and BSC-1, react differently to Actinomycin-D. The effect of Actinomycin-D was measured by the incorporation of 3H-Uridine after cells were treated similarly with the inhibitor. Both continuous cell lines exhibited, in the same way, a stronger reaction to Actinomycin-D than did the primary cells.
