Abstract

The engine drive system in the vehicle is one of the magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) applications. The system uses the basic concept of MHD, which is a fluid movement that can conduct electricity due to magnetic fields. Some researchers began to develop these concepts by examining the characteristics from simulation results. In this paper considers the MHD for unsteady nano fluid on boundary layer affected by the mixed convection flow pass a sliced magnetic sphere. This paper aims to develop matematical model of MHD and to observe the influence of slice angles, magnetic parameters, and volume fraction of nano fluid toward nano fluid velocity and nano fluid temperature. The conclusion are the MHD model of unsteady nano fluid on boundary layer affected by the mixed convection flow pass a sliced magnetic sphere are solved numerically using the Keller Box metho, and we obtain that when the magnetic field parameter increases, then velocity of nano fluid decreases and temperature of nano fluid increases, when the slice angle increases, then the velocity of nano fluid increases and temperature of nano fluid decreases, when the volume fraction of nano fluid increases, then the velocity of nano fluid decreases and temperature of nano fluid increases.
