Abstract

ABSTRACT This case report explores the intricate presentation of a 12-year-old female with type 1 diabetes, who exhibited severe diabetic ketoacidosis complicated by concurrent tuberculosis. Despite initial mismanagement and poor medication compliance, a multidisciplinary approach successfully unraveled the complexity of her condition. The case highlights the challenges in diagnosing and managing dual pathologies in pediatric patients, emphasizing the importance of a comprehensive and collaborative medical strategy.
