Abstract
Inducing senescence in tumor cells can stimulate anti-tumor immune responses. In this issue of Cancer Cell, Colucci etal. demonstrate that the combination of the RAR agonist Adapalene with the chemotherapy drug Docetaxel enhances tumor-suppressing senescence and activates an anti-tumor immune response through natural killer cells.
