Abstract

University-industry partnerships are an efficient and cost-effective approach to improve engineering education. Current traditional teaching faces high rates of school dropout due to students' low motivation as well as the lack of real-world practices that reflect the nature of the work students will carry out in the future as engineers. This partnership is an important strategy for engineering education.
