Abstract
A Florida state university that historically has responded to the mental health needs of its surrounding community is seeking to establish a doctorate program to enhance mental health workforce development and research. The doctorate program in counselor education and supervision would be the very first Ph.D. program at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU).
